Welcome to our new 'nest', a beautiful old sandstone church, built in 1865.

We re-opened in this new location on Saturday 7th August 2010. Situated only five minutes from the city of Hobart, we are very easy to find. Also easily accessed by public transport (there's a bus stop right out the front!), there's really no excuse not to pay us a visit!!
For those of you who can't make it in person, we would like to share some photos with you.
This one is taken from the altar, looking towards the entrance under the choir loft . . .

One of our favourite little 'nooks' in the shop . . . "Laura's Legacy - Little Quilts of the Month" in the little suitcase and a sample of needleturn applique on the old Singer Treadle . . .

The famous "Dear Jane" quilt - a work in progress . . .

This one is taken from our Longarm Quilting Machine - now who wouldn't enjoy quilting with this view around you!

We specialise in reproduction and 1930's fabrics as well as 100% felted woven wool and a lot of our designs feature this wonderful medium.
We hope that you enjoy your journey through the pages of our on-line store and that one day you will have the opportunity to visit us in person.
In friendship,
